| United Methodist
Women |
|
 The
United Methodist Women (and their predecessors) have
been a driving force in denominational mission work. The
FUMC-UMW have certainly continued that
traditional role. Through annual pledges, new clothing
made by the Sewing Group and monies raised by the
Quilting Group, a variety of mission projects are
supported from within the Millersville area to those in
developing countries. Anne Haser is the President of the

| JOYFUL
Hearts |
|
| The Joyful Hearts is a group of women who get
together the first Saturday of the month for breakfast
at 8:00 a.m. and once a month for book discussion or a
program at a member's house. Contact Sandi Lenhard or
Dianne Malcomb. |

| Caring Connections |
|
| Led by Mary Burger, this group is a significant
mission of the church to those of our church family who
are shut-ins, 'victims' of long term illness, or in need
of some special attention. |

| Hospitality Team |
|
|
This group makes people feel welcome in our worship
service or our community. Whether someone is
participating for the first time or a return visitor,
members of this group are there to welcome them into our
church family. |

| Senior Choir |
|
| The Senior Choir is always looking for new members.
If you are interested in helping with this ministry
during the Sunday morning service, please see any choir
member or the choir director, Elinor Nicholas. Practices
are held Wednesdays, 7:00-8:30 p.m. |

| Sewing |
|
| Women of the church get together to sew clothing for
the Spring Ingathering. Sewing days are held on the
second and fourth Thursdays each month from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
in Wesley hall. See the church bulletin for dates. Jean
Roth coordinates this ministry. |
