Come visit us...
Who are we? We are a divergent group - in our ages, our
backgrounds and our theology. Whoever you are, be assured
you are welcome here at FUMC Millersville.
When you arrive: If it's your first visit then it's probably best to
get here around 8:40 a.m. If you are driving
you'll find that there is plenty of free parking on
the
Millersville University campus.
driving directions
and parking info. You'll be greeted at the door and welcomed to
our church. If you have questions, please ask the
greeters, they will be happy to help you.
What to wear:
Wear
whatever you feel comfortable in. We are an informal
church and accept people as they are. There is no
need to dress up unless that makes you feel
comfortable.
What to expect: People are friendly here, so if you have a question
or don't understand
something please ask. We are a small congregation,
averaging 70-80 worshipers each Sunday. We start at 9:00
a.m. with a few announcements and then we begin our
Worship Service. It is a mostly traditional style
of worship and the Order of Worship from a typical service can
be found here. We are usually finished around 10:00 in
time for Sunday School.
What we believe:
We are a
Christian church and believe that everyone can have
a relationship with God. We believe this
relationship with God is possible because of Jesus.
If you are interested in discovering more about the
Christian faith then please visit us on a Sunday
morning or contact the
office to ask for a free brochure.
For those with
disabilities: Our Sanctuary is accessible for those with physical
disabilities. You may park near the front entrance.
We have large-print bulletins and hymnals for those
with vision impairment as well as an FM sound
enhancement system for the hearing challenged.
Please see an usher for these.
